AN ACT PROHIBITING DIFFERENTIAL PAYMENT RATES TO HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS BASED ON SITE OF SERVICE FOR COLONOSCOPY OR ENDOSCOPIC SERVICES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the use of differential payment rates based on site of service for a physician's professional services component of colonoscopy or endoscopic services.
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit the use of differential payment rates based on site of service for a physician's professional services component of colonoscopy or endoscopic services.
