AN ACT CONCERNING THE ADMINISTRATION OF UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION BENEFITS FOR CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to simplify the process that unemployed individuals who work on an on-call basis can qualify for benefits and alleviate the need to have to call in each week and wait for hours.

Statement of Purpose: 

To simplify the process for unemployed individuals who work on an on-call basis to qualify for unemployment compensation benefits.
