AN ACT CONCERNING SPECIAL "SILENT SERVICE" MOTORCYCLE NUMBER PLATES FOR VETERANS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 246 of the general statutes be amended to provide that the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, at the request of any veteran who served aboard a naval submarine, shall register any motorcycle owned or leased by such veteran and shall issue special "silent service" number plates for each such motorcycle.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow the Department of Motor Vehicles, at the request of a veteran who served aboard a naval submarine, to issue special "silent service" number plates for motorcycles owned or leased by such veteran.
