AN ACT CONCERNING UNIVERSAL PRESCHOOL EDUCATION IN CERTAIN CITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 164 of the general statutes be amended to provide for universal preschool education for children residing in cities in district reference group I as classified by the Department of Education.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide for universal preschool education for all students living in the state's major cities.
