AN ACT CONCERNING A MORATORIUM ON THE IN-SCHOOL SUSPENSION MANDATE AND THE DELAY OF IMPLEMENTATION OF CERTAIN EDUCATION MANDATES. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That subsection (g) of section 10-233c of the general statutes be amended to permit local and regional boards of education to impose a two-year moratorium on the in-school suspension requirement and that the general statutes be amended to permit local and regional boards of education to delay the implementation of the provisions of public act 10-111. Statement of Purpose: To provide fiscal relief to municipalities by delaying the implementation of certain education mandates.
