AN ACT REQUIRING LEGISLATIVE APPROVAL PRIOR TO ANY INCREASE IN EMPLOYER UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION ASSESSMENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit increases in employer unemployment compensation assessments unless approved by a majority vote of the legislature.
Statement of Purpose:
To stop increased costs in the form of unemployment compensation assessments to employers without legislative approval.
