AN ACT CONCERNING THE LABOR DEPARTMENT AND UPDATES TO THE METROPOLITAN STATISTICAL AREA.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Labor Department to update the Primary Metropolitan Statistical Area and the Metropolitan Statistical Area with 2010 census date and to continue to update these statistics every two years.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide the Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities current information to use in affirmative action plans for state contracts.
