AN ACT CONCERNING THE STATE BUILDING CODE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 29-253 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit any town, city or borough from adopting an ordinance or otherwise imposing a standard that is more restrictive than the State Building Code.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that there is one standard building code throughout the state.
