AN ACT CONCERNING AGREEMENTS BETWEEN MUNICIPALITIES AND OTHER TAXING DISTRICTS FOR THE JOINT PURCHASE OF EMPLOYEE HEALTH INSURANCE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 7-464b of the general statutes be amended to allow municipalities to join together with any sewer district, fire district or any other taxing district by written agreement as a single entity for the purpose of providing medical or health care benefits for their employees.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow municipalities to join with sewer, fire and other local districts to purchase health insurance for their employees.
