AN ACT CONCERNING AUTHORIZATION OF BONDS OF THE STATE FOR PURPOSES OF CONSTRUCTION OF A HOSPICE RESIDENTIAL FACILITY IN NORWICH.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate $750,000, the proceeds of which shall be used by the Department of Public Health for the purpose of providing grant-in-aid to Hospice of Southeastern Connecticut for the construction of a hospice residential facility in Norwich.
Statement of Purpose:
To expand access to and enhance the quality of end of life care southeastern Connecticut.
