AN ACT FREEZING STATE SPENDING FOR TWO YEARS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit state spending for either year of the budget biennium ending June 30, 2013 at a level higher than that for the current fiscal year.
Statement of Purpose:
To freeze state spending at the current level.
