AN ACT INCREASING HEALTH INSURANCE PREMIUMS FOR RETIRED STATE EMPLOYEES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to increase the portion of the health insurance premium paid by a retired state employee to the amount currently paid by active state employees in positions comparable to that last held by such retiree and to require that retired state employees pay higher premiums for dependents.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the health insurance premiums for retirees to current employee levels.
