AN ACT CONCERNING PROOF OF IDENTITY FOR PERSONS RECEIVING SOCIAL SERVICE BENEFITS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to require persons applying for state assistance to provide valid photo identification as proof of identity.
Statement of Purpose:
To require persons receiving state assistance to present valid identification.
