AN ACT ESTABLISHING A BUSINESS REGULATORY COMMISSION.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to establish a business regulatory commission to (1) use a cost-benefit analysis to review all proposed and existing regulations impacting state businesses, (2) recommend repeal of any regulation for which the cost to businesses outweigh the benefits, and (3) report conclusions annually to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to commerce.

Statement of Purpose: 

To create the business regulatory commission to review the state's regulations as they affect businesses.
