AN ACT CONCERNING FISCAL NOTES FOR STATE AGENCY REGULATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 4-168 of the general statutes be amended to require the fiscal note prepared by the agency to consider the impact on the state, municipalities and small businesses not only in the current fiscal year but also for the following five fiscal years as well as any long range fiscal implications.
Statement of Purpose:
To enhance regulatory fairness by ensuring that the long-term fiscal implications of regulations are considered prior to adoption.
