AN ACT CONCERNING COMPLIANCE WITH THE MILITARY SELECTIVE SERVICE ACT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles to electronically transmit to the Selective Service System the information of driver's license and identity card applicants who are required to register with the Selective Service System pursuant to federal law.
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles to electronically transmit to the Selective Service System the information of driver's license and identity card applicants who are required to register with the Selective Service System pursuant to federal law.
