AN ACT CONCERNING THE VOTING REQUIREMENT FOR NONTRANSPORTATION APPROPRIATIONS FROM THE SPECIAL TRANSPORTATION FUND.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 13b-69 of the general statutes be amended to require a vote of at least two-thirds of each chamber of the General Assembly for any appropriation from the Special Transportation Fund for a purpose or expense that is not related to transportation.
Statement of Purpose:
To require a vote of at least two-thirds of each chamber of the General Assembly for any nontransportation appropriation from the Special Transportation Fund.
