AN ACT IMPLEMENTING THE GOVERNOR'S RECOMMENDATION CONCERNING AN ANNUAL REPORT ON HIGHER EDUCATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (NEW) (Effective July 1, 2012) The executive director of the Office of Financial and Academic Affairs for Higher Education shall report annually, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, to the joint standing committees of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to higher education and appropriations and the budgets of state agencies on state, regional and national trends regarding Connecticut higher education, including, but not limited to, expenditures, funding, enrollment, faculty and staff positions, cost sharing and student financial aid. The Office of Financial and Academic Affairs for Higher Education shall collect such data and information as it deems necessary for the development of such annual report.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
