AN ACT CONCERNING AN EXEMPTION FROM THE SALES TAX FOR MASSAGE THERAPY PERFORMED BY A REFLEXOLOGIST.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 12-412 of the general statutes be amended to provide an exemption from the sales tax for massage therapy performed by a reflexologist.
Statement of Purpose:
To exempt from sales taxation massage therapy performed by a reflexologist, similar to the exemption for such services performed by massage therapists.
