AN ACT EXEMPTING COSMETIC GRADE MINERAL OIL FROM THE PETROLEUM PRODUCTS GROSS EARNINGS TAX .

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to clarify that cosmetic grade mineral oil is exempt from the petroleum products gross earnings tax.

Statement of Purpose: 

To clarify the application of the gross earnings tax to cosmetic grade mineral oil.
