AN ACT CONCERNING PILOT PAYMENTS FOR SUPPORTIVE HOUSING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 12-20a of the general statutes be amended to provide payments in lieu of taxes to municipalities in which supportive housing is located.
Statement of Purpose:
To encourage municipalities to host supportive housing by providing reimbursement for property taxes lost as a result of hosting such housing.
