AN ACT DELAYING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF TEACHER EVALUATION AND SUPPORT PROGRAMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That public act 12-116 be amended to delay the implementation of teacher evaluation and support programs and to establish a task force to work with the Neag School of Education at The University of Connecticut to review the teacher evaluation and support pilot program described in section 52 of public act 12-116.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide proper time and give adequate consideration to the teacher evaluation and support pilot program before the state-wide implementation of teacher evaluation and support programs.
