AN ACT PROHIBITING THE STORAGE OF DRIVER'S LICENSE INFORMATION BY RETAIL ESTABLISHMENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit retail establishments from storing driver's license information.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect consumers by preventing security breaches and identity theft of sensitive information.
