AN ACT CONCERNING THE SALE OF COPPER TO SCRAP METAL PROCESSORS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 405 of the general statutes be amended to require scrap metal processors to document the driver's license information of all sellers of copper.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce copper theft.
