AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING FOR INCENTIVE HOUSING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to create a new affordable housing fee that shall be used to fund the incentive housing program established in chapter 124b of the general statutes, and to require developers to pay for such fee one hundred dollars for each housing unit constructed that has a value equal to or exceeding one million dollars, twenty dollars for each condominium unit constructed that has a value equal to or exceeding five hundred thousand dollars, and ten dollars for all other housing units constructed.
Statement of Purpose:
To create an additional, dedicated funding source for the "Home CT" program.
