AN ACT CONCERNING THE MAXIMUM MUNICIPAL PENALTY FOR RETRIEVAL OF A DIRT BIKE OR ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to permit a municipality to prescribe a penalty in excess of two hundred fifty dollars for retrieval of a dirt bike or all-terrain vehicle confiscated due to a violation of a lawful municipal regulation or ordinance.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the maximum penalty that a municipality may charge an individual to retrieve a confiscated dirt bike or all-terrain vehicle.
