AN ACT REQUIRING THE POSTING OF ASSIGNED MUNICIPAL LIENS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 12-195h of the general statutes be amended to require the town clerk to post for not less than thirty days, in or near the office of such clerk, a list of liens assigned by the municipality not later than seven days after the resolution assigning such liens is approved by the legislative body.
Statement of Purpose:
To require more transparency in the assignment of municipal liens.
