(By Request) AN ACT CONCERNING PARENTAL CONSENT FOR USE OF INDOOR TANNING DEVICES BY PERSONS UNDER EIGHTEEN YEARS OF AGE. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That section 19a-232 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit tanning facility operators from allowing persons under eighteen years of age to use indoor tanning devices without the written consent of a parent or guardian. Statement of Purpose: To require that children under age eighteen have parental consent in order to use indoor tanning devices.
