AN ACT PROHIBITING PRICE GOUGING FOR GOODS AND SERVICES DURING SEVERE WEATHER EVENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit price gouging for goods and services during severe weather events.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect consumers from price gouging during severe weather market disruptions.
