AN ACT REQUIRING WATER COMPANIES TO CONDUCT PERIODIC PRESSURE VACUUM BREAKER TESTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 19a-37d of the general statutes be amended to require water companies to conduct a test of the pressure vacuum breaker not less than once every five years.
Statement of Purpose:
To require public water systems to conduct tests of their pressure vacuum breakers once every five years.
