AN ACT CONCERNING THE VOTE REQUIRED TO ENACT A STATE BUDGET.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require a vote of two-thirds of the members of each chamber of the General Assembly to enact a state budget.
Statement of Purpose:
To require a two-thirds vote of the General Assembly to enact a state budget.
