AN ACT CONCERNING VIRTUAL NET METERING QUALIFICATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 16-244u of the general statutes be amended to permit municipal leasing of generation equipment to qualify for virtual net metering.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce municipal energy costs by expanding virtual net metering qualifications from current law that allows only the municipal ownership of a virtual net metering facility to qualify for virtual net metering.
