AN ACT CONCERNING UNFUNDED STATE MANDATES FOR MUNICIPALITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit new unfunded mandates for municipalities unless such mandates are approved by a vote of two-thirds of the members of each chamber of the General Assembly.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide property tax relief.
