AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS TO FOREST ROAD IN NEW HAVEN.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate two million five hundred thousand dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the Department of Transportation for the purpose of providing a grant-in-aid to the city of New Haven to replace pipes and improve drainage on the Forest Road portion of Route 122 in New Haven between Edgewood Avenue and Chapel Street.
Statement of Purpose:
To improve drainage and curb flooding issues on a portion of Forest Road in New Haven.
