AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF THE CONNECTICUT AGRICULTURAL EXPERIMENT STATION TO ENTER INTO COMPLIANCE AGREEMENTS TO STOP THE SPREAD OF THE EMERALD ASH BORER.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to authorize the Director of the Agricultural Experiment Station to enter into compliance agreements with state residents, businesses and applicable federal agencies to prevent the spread of the Emerald Ash Borer in the state.
Statement of Purpose:
To authorize the use of compliance agreements to assist in the prevention of the spread of the Emerald Ash Borer.
