AN ACT CONCERNING COVERAGE UNDER THE MEDICAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR COUGH DROPS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 17b-280a of the general statutes be amended to add cough drops to the list of over-the-counter health aides covered by the state medical assistance program.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow for state medical assistance coverage of cough drops that do not require a prescription.
