AN ACT CONCERNING THE PREVAILING WAGE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 31-53 of the general statues be amended to adjust the threshold amount to meet the prevailing wage requirements to seven hundred fifty thousand dollars for new construction and two hundred fifty thousand dollars for renovation projects.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the prevailing wage thresholds in order to encourage the state and municipalities to undertake public works projects.
