AN ACT CONCERNING THE ISSUANCE OF TEMPORARY MOTOR VEHICLE REGISTRATIONS BY AUTOMOBILE DEALERS TO BUYERS WITH CERTAIN LOCAL ENFORCEMENT ISSUES. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That subsection (c) of section 14-12 of the general statutes be amended to allow licensed automobile dealers to issue a two-week temporary motor vehicle registration to any buyer with outstanding local enforcement issues, including unpaid local property taxes. Statement of Purpose: To increase sales of motor vehicles by allowing dealers to issue temporary motor vehicle registrations to buyers with certain outstanding local enforcement issues.
