AN ACT CONCERNING THE APPROVAL OF UNFUNDED MANDATES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 16 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit new unfunded mandates on municipalities unless any such mandate is approved by a vote of two-thirds of the members of both chambers of the General Assembly.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide state mandate relief to municipalities.
