AN ACT NAMING A SECTION OF ROUTE 137 IN STAMFORD THE "U.S. NAVY SEAL BRIAN R. BILL MEMORIAL HIGHWAY".
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That a section of Route 137 in Stamford, from Route 1 to Broad Street, be named the "U.S. Navy SEAL Brian R. Bill Memorial Highway".
Statement of Purpose:
To honor a Stamford hero and native, Brian R. Bill, who gave his life in defense of our nation on August 6, 2011.
