AN ACT DELAYING THE START OF TEACHER EVALUATION AND SUPPORT PROGRAMS AND ESTABLISHING A TASK FORCE TO REVIEW THE TEACHER EVALUATION AND SUPPORT PILOT PROGRAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That subsection (b) of section 10-151b of the general statutes be amended to delay the implementation of teacher evaluation and support programs until July 1, 2014, and to establish a task force to work with the Neag School of Education at The University of Connecticut to review the teacher evaluation and support pilot program described in section 10-151f of the general statutes.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide boards of education with adequate time to prepare, develop and implement teacher evaluation and support programs.
