AN ACT CONCERNING SENTENCE MODIFICATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 53a-39 of the general statutes be amended to permit a sentenced person to seek review and modification of his or her sentence regardless of whether the prosecutor agrees to such review.
Statement of Purpose:
To permit a sentenced person to seek review and modification of his or her sentence regardless of whether the prosecutor agrees to such review.
