AN ACT CONCERNING MINIMUM BASE PERIOD WAGES AND ELIGIBILITY FOR UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to increase the required base period wages enabling an individual to be eligible for unemployment benefits to a minimum of two thousand dollars.

Statement of Purpose: 

To update the threshold at which an individual may qualify for unemployment compensation.
