CANDELORA, 86th Dist. REP. KLARIDES, 114th Dist. AN ACT CONCERNING MINIMUM BASE PERIOD WAGES AND ELIGIBILITY FOR UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to increase the required base period wages enabling an individual to be eligible for unemployment benefits to a minimum of two thousand dollars. Statement of Purpose: To update the threshold at which an individual may qualify for unemployment compensation.
