AN ACT CONCERNING FINANCIAL RELIEF TO THE STATE AND MUNICIPALITIES AND INCREASING THE PREVAILING WAGE THRESHOLDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 31-53 of the general statutes be amended to increase the threshold amount for construction projects required to abide by prevailing wage laws to eight hundred thousand dollars for new construction and two hundred fifty thousand dollars for renovations.
Statement of Purpose:
To better undertake public works projects and to increase levels to be more in line with present costs.
