AN ACT CONCERNING RANDOM DRUG AND ALCOHOL TESTING AND POLICE OFFICERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require all state and municipal police officers to submit to random drug and alcohol testing as a condition of their employment.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure the safety of both police officers and the citizens of Connecticut by requiring police officers to submit to random drug and alcohol testing.
