AN ACT REQUIRING EMPLOYERS TO PROVIDE PAID SICK LEAVE TO PARAPROFESSIONALS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to mandate that employers provide paid sick leave to paraprofessionals.
Statement of Purpose:
To add school paraprofessionals to the list of workers who qualify for paid sick leave under Connecticut statute.
