AN ACT CONCERNING UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS AND THE STATE UNEMPLOYMENT RATE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to index the number of weeks that an individual shall be eligible to receive unemployment benefits to the state's unemployment rate.
Statement of Purpose:
To require the period of time that an individual may receive unemployment benefits to be related to the rate of unemployment in the state.
