AN ACT CONCERNING NEWLY HIRED STATE EMPLOYEES AND PENSION OPTIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow newly hired state employees to choose between a traditional pension plan or a defined benefit contribution plan.
Statement of Purpose:
To create parity between state and private pension plans.
