Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to require individuals seeking unemployment benefits to appear in person at the state's unemployment offices in order to apply and access their unemployment benefits. Statement of Purpose: To enable the Labor Department to better assist individuals receiving unemployment benefits by requiring personal interaction in the administration of unemployment benefits.
