AN ACT CONCERNING UNIFORM STANDARDS AND THE PROVISION OF MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES AT SCHOOL-BASED HEALTH CENTERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 368a of the general statutes be amended to provide uniform standards for school-based health centers that include the provision of mental health services and require the school nurse to work collaboratively as part of the school-based health center.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide a uniform design and make-up for school-based health centers that include mental health services and require the development of a mechanism for the school nurse and the school-based health center to work collaboratively.
